Evangelist Akwasi Awuah Slams Owusu Bempah Over Death Prophecies
The expectation of Ghanaians in welcoming the beginning of the year with blessing and hope has taken a plunge following prophecies by the founder of Glorious Word and Power Ministry Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah pronouncing doom over prominent leaders in the country and Akwasi Awuah has descended intensely on Owusu Bempah.
The founder and leader of Pillar of Zion church, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah has lambasted Rev Owusu Bempah concerning his recent outrageous death prophecy over National Chief Imam Sheikh Nuhu Sharabutu.
The Kumasi based Evangelist described such prophecies as foolish and fake and prompted Christians not respect such ministers.
Akwasi Awuah said that in a crusade in Kumasi where his focus was to caution Christians against false prophets and their doom predictions.
“As we approach to the end of the year to a new, Rev Owusu Bempah couldnot observe all the ongoing sins of Ghanaian individuals but only noticed an 100 years old man. Is this prophecy? After the prediction, you tell us that the prophecy is provisional. This is foolish prophecy. Is this prophecy aligned with the word of God? You go on to say this person will die, this one will die…This president will die… Who ought to live? Death is a normal thing? I would rather congratulate you if you prophecy that I will die because Christianity death is an advantage for me because I would go and rest and collect my reward in heaven. Let’s stop this foolish prophecy. Are they not the one who prophesied that Shatta Wale will pass on? is Shatta Wale dead? Let’s preach the word of Christ and win souls and stop these pointless predictions, “Awuah fumed.
The minister who is obviously irate concluded that Christians should love God with all their heart, soul and mind and no one ought to have hatred for any human in their heart and should respect elders.
He also advised that no Christian should envy his or her fellow Christian.
