Breaking Evil Altars devotion by Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah helps God’s people refresh, refocus and renew their faith and prayer.
“Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” Judges 6:13 NKJV
Gideon was a mighty man of valor in the Lord’s sight but there were some altars speaking against him, causing him not to walk fully in the will of God.
From what we studied in our devotional last week,we know that every altar has a history, purpose, character and identity.
Certain altars have been built on evil works and continually produce poverty, sicknesses, generational curses and struggles.
Such altars curtail the purpose and plans of God for your life and cause you to live in constant fear, pain, poverty and suffering which is not the will of God for you.
Jesus came to destroy all these evil altars by His work on the cross.
“having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” Colossians 2:14 NKJV
With your prayer, worship and declarations, standing on the work that Christ came to do on the cross, break all evil altars in your life and live the glorious life of Christ in you.
Lord Jesus, thank you for the cross and for the finished work you have done. I break every evil altar speaking against me, my family, my business and my progress and I declare that I am victorious and I have peace in Jesus Name.Amen.
