Trap Catch your owner devotion by Apostle Johnson Suleman, helps God’s people refresh, refocus and renew their faith and prayer. TEXT: “For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.” Job 18 :8.
A trap is a clever plan designed to trick somebody either by capturing them to do or say something that they did not mean to do or say and this place them in an unpleasant situation from which it is heard to escape.
Every now and then, believers fall victim to the trap of the devil because of their insensitivity and ignorance of the devil’s plot in getting believers through traps.
Child of God, it is time to walk with your spiritual antenna alert and escape the traps of the wicked.
The truth is that the devil will hardly use a strange thing or attitude to trick a man; it is what he is naturally used to such as his attitude, his friends or relatives as the case may be.
That is why you have to be spiritual; things don’t appear as they look. All that glitters is not gold.
A Christian is expected to always be connected to the spirit of God inside of Him for leadings.
He is expected to be in the spirit and not live in the flesh. A spiritually minded Christian operates in the wisdom of God, his conscience is alive, he has spiritual discernment and he is not easily swayed by the enemy.
In any way the devil pilots against him, he escapes. Why? His spirit, his soul and body just would not cooperate.
There is always a prompting, a leading, a revelation, not to fall for it. “Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.”
Proverbs 1 :17.
This day, you are going to pray the enemy into his own trap.
By fire, by thunder, Lion of Judah, as I pray, O you trap prepared for me, catch your owner now.
