Beloved, every week I receive numerous prayer requests, as well as comments on my weekly blogs, asking for prayers over your financial burdens.

I continue to pray for financial breakthrough. I continue to pray for your anxious spirit and worrisome heart.

If you keep your eyes on your circumstances, you will stop giving to God, which will block the flow of God’s provision in your life. I tell you this:

Continue giving to God … expecting, believing, and trusting God to fulfill His promises to you.

The natural mind says, “Stop giving until your finances improve. Stop giving, and you will have more to meet your financial obligations.” In times of adversity or financial difficulty, the first reaction of the natural mind is to cut back or conserve.

In the lives of the vast majority of Christians, one of the first areas in which they cut back is in their giving to God. When unexpected emergencies arise … there is a decrease in their income, or their savings begin to disappear … they start withholding their tithes and offerings.

God’s Word teaches you to give freely, willingly, and liberally to God, even in times of adversity … and He will multiply it back into your life to meet your needs.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over …

Luke 6:38

RELEASE is the key to INCREASE … WITHHOLDING leads to POVERTY!

Those who withhold … who stop giving and selfishly cling to what they have … will go on lacking. The moment you begin to worry about your finances, set your eyes on your circumstances, or allow Satan to fill your mind with worry and doubt … you will be caught in the cycle of defeat!

The worst thing you can do when you are having financial difficulties is to stop giving … to stop fulfilling your pledges and commitments you have made to God.

One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Proverbs 11:24–25, NIV

Almost every single person reading my blog right now … if they were being honest … would probably say, “Brother Cerullo, I have experienced the attacks of Satan against my finances. Why is that?”

Satan has a two-fold purpose for binding and destroying your finances:

1. He wants to prevent you from meeting your needs.

It is virtually impossible for you to freely glorify God if your daily needs are not being met, and you are wallowing in worry about all your financial woes.

If the devil can get you and keep you in a state of turmoil over your finances, then he knows he can short-circuit God’s will in your life. From there, it will be extremely difficult for you to get your needs met.

2. He wants to hinder you from financing the spread of the Gospel.

The devil wants to stop the flow of the end-time finances for the sake of the Gospel being preached around the world. The only people God can use to finance His end-time harvest of souls are His children … His chosen vehicles for financial blessing.

God may not be raining down dollar bills from heaven, but He can and will supernaturally provide money for us so that we can be His end-time vessels for accomplishing His work.

We will thus receive the supernatural manifestation of His total provision!

I am praying this foundational truth over you, in the Name of Jesus, and I want you to put two phrases into your spirit. One is total provision. The other is continual supply.

Total provision … Continual supply.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Philippians 4:9

Put this scripture into your spirit:

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

III John 1:2

It is God’s will, His prayer, for you to prosper.
