Gifty Akutek Grabs ‘Gospel Artist Of The Year’ At NEA 2020: Barely hours of releasing her latest Single Gurimam “Protect Me Lord”, Ghana’s finest Gospel musician Gifty Akutek was announced the Gospel Artist of the year at this year’s Northern Entertainment Awards (NEA) 2020 hosted last night.
The Awards night which was hosted live on Sagani Tv in Tamale and also broadcast live on Social Media due to the COVID-19 Lock down saw tight competition in the Gospel Artist of the year category whereby various artists battle for supremacy. Neverless, Gifty Akutek who doubles as Gospel Musician and a Financial Analyst clinched the ultimate and most prestigious of the night setting the pace as the most consistence and hardworking artist in the region.
From a humble beginning, she started writing songs during her Secondary school days but Gifty Akutek Ministries fully saw light in 2016 when her maiden Album “I HAVE A FRIEND” was launched.
“I HAVE A FRIEND” was produced by NACEE MUSIC, one of the finest producers in the country.
