UK-based Ghanaian gospel artiste Nana Ama Royal has raised over Ghc500,000 at her first album launch which was held at Christ the King dominion palace in Tottenham, London.

The launch brought together Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities including SugeNight, Esther Smith, Danny Erskine, Nero X, Slim Buster, Lovely Ama and others.

The musician said during the launch that her first album was ready for the market.

She noted that the album was scheduled to be launched in 2020 but had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

She added that at a point, she wanted to forget about the launch and focus on her second album but she heeded advice from well-wishers and did the launch which attracted a good number of personalities.

The event started at around 5:00PM and ended around 12:00AM.

The album with 10 tracks is titled ‘Onyame Ne Megyapadia.’

Chairman for the program, Elliot Paa-Dadzie was the first to make a pledge of £5,000 during the auction, followed by other dignitaries who gave in physical cash and pledges.

Pastor Kwame Amponsah and his wife Charlotte Amponsah preached and advised the gospel musician with a touching message not to give up on her calling into the gospel ministry.

Nana Ama Royal’s best friend Miss Monica Haake who also pledged an amount of money shed tears amidst her eulogy of the gospel musician. She explained how the musician has personally made a commitment and dedicated herself to work for God.
