Nigerian female and award winning actress, Lala Akindoju calls out Nigerians to focus on their leaders and leave Christians alone to do their Jesus challenge.
The Jesus Challenge took to the internet when gospel artist, Nathaniel Bassey urged Christians to join the new challenge and post it on all their social media platforms.
Lala Akindoju came out against Nigerians calling out Christians for following the new challenge insisting they should let them do their Jesus Challenge.
“Y’all should focus on calling out your leaders and lawmakers and leave Christians alone. Kilode gan?.”
The actress said Nigerians were trying to bully and insult Christians because they were trying to exercise their faith in God, the act didn’t go well with her, including popular media personnel Daddy Freeze.
“Y’all want to bully people for exercising their faith? If you don’t like it jump and pass, but bullying and insulting is so wrong. Some Churches even insist on members getting PVCs. There’s no shame in praying. WE WILL PRAY, VOTE, ENGAGE THE SYSTEM AND INSIST” She quoted.
Lala Akindoju also noted how churches have helped in educating members of the importance of the coming elections and organizing programs for them also at no cost.
“Churches have been organizing voter’s registration programs for months at no cost. They have been educating their members of on their importance of voting and being active citizens. This present House has had one since March. Increased from twice a week to daily. I think DCC also has,” Lala Akindoju said.
