Hubby of Celestine Donkor, Kofi Donkor Pens Down Letter To Spouses: Kofi Donkor, hubby of Celestine Donkor who doubles as her manager in a lengthy write-up took to his Facebook page to share marriage goals tips on how to partner with God to support your spouse’s vision to another level.

“Today I want to share with you what it means to me to be of support to your spouses. There are two things that I do not compromise on. My service to the things of God and my wife’s ministry. For the few decades I have had the opportunity to be here on earth, every experience that has come my way good or bad,took me closer to God. Even what seem as ugly He turns it to my good. Anytime I take the things of God serious and commit myself to service in His vineyard,I experience His greatness in diverse ways.For these reasons, I will NEVER stop loving Him. In Him I will forever live and have my being.

Beloved, my wife started singing professionally when I had no idea what the music business and ministry is about. I knew she was gifted and anointed but I wondered why getting an executive producer for her then was such an impossible task. She was featured in many hit songs which were executively produced by great men then. These executive producers spoke highly of her yet none was willing to invest in her.

This went on until the Lord spoke through a brother Kwame Karikari (husband of Philipa Baafi) that I should team up with her to take up her works. I must admit that it has not been easy but to say it is worth it is understatement! Making her ministry my burden has exposed me to a new world. Meeting great people has become a norm. Getting undeserving favors is a daily occurrence. Above all,in her success is my fulfillment

Born to Elder Gabriel Akakpo and Mrs. Hanna Akakpo, Celestine schooled at St Augustine’s Preparatory/JS School in Abeka Lapaz after which she enrolled at Nsaaniya Secondary Business School at Kasoa for her senior secondary certificate.

At the age of sixteen and still in her second circle education, she came in contact with Mr. Fred Kyei Mensah aka Fredyma who brought her into the music industry as backing vocalist.
