Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah Founder of the Royal House Chapel International and his lovely wife Mrs. Rita Korankye Ankrah, paid a special visit to Israel. The historic trip was accompanied by the Royal house Team and Royal House church members seeking to connect to the Holy Land. They visited holy sites in Israel. Below are the lists of sites they visited in Israel:
1. Mount Tabor
Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah and Mrs. Korankye Ankrah started the tour with a visit to places like Mount Tabor where Jesus went to mount Tabor with Peter, James and John. Here He was transfigured before them.
His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.
At 1,900 feet above sea level, Mount Tabor (also called Mount Tavor) is believed to be the site of the transfiguration, when according to the Gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke, Jesus took the disciples Peter, James and John to see an apparition of Moses and Elijah.
She also visited Cana where Jesus Christ performed His first ever Miracle at a wedding in Cana — He turned water into Wine.
3. The Garden Tomb
The Garden Tomb in Jerusalem was also visited. This tomb is considered by some Christians to be the site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus.
4. The Shepherd’s Bush
The Shepherd’s Bush was also a place worth visiting by Mrs Korankye Ankrah. This is where the angels anounced the birth of Christ to the shepherds.
5. Valley of Elah
This is where David defeated Goliath.
6. River Jordan
It was another glorious experience as members of Royal House Chapel took turns to receive water baptism in the River Jordan where Jesus was baptized. Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.” – Matthew 3:13
7. Mount Carmel
One of the places visited in Israel too was Mount Carmel where Elijah challenged the 450 prophets of baal to a contest at the altar. In 1 Kings 18, the contest was to see which deity could light a sacrifice by fire.
After the prophets of Baal had failed to achieve this, Elijah had water poured on his sacrifice to saturate the altar and then he prayed; fire fell and consumed the sacrifice, wood, stones, soil, and water which prompted the Israelite witnesses to proclaim, “The LORD, He is God!
