There’s a FAKE story circulating within the media about US – Based Ghanaian exquisite Gospel Artiste, Prophetess Esther Okai that she has stolen a song titled ‘Onyame Tiase’ from Kumasi – based gospel musician, Minister Owusu Ansah.

According to the gospel musician, he sold the ‘Onyame Tiase’ song to the manager of Prophetess Esther Okai, Morrison for a fee. He claims he went as far as even featuring on the song but after the song was done, Morrison has refused to pay him which automatically means they have stolen the song.

The caption of the story and the whole story is misleading. Some legitimate media houses  like thesunghana.com, tugamedia.com, ghananewss.com, igossips.com etc, have unfortunately carried this story around without any due diligence.

The manager of Prophetess Esther Okai, Morrison has debunked the news circulating that Esther Okai stole a song from Minister Owusu Ansah.

Morrison wishes to state categorically that at no point in time has Prophetess Esther Okai stolen any song from Minister Owusu Ansah.

Management of Esther Okai therefore urge all discerning Ghanaians to reject the publication.
