You Can’t Be In Church Everyday And Expect God To Bless You; Wake Up & Work! – Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye slams lazy christians.General Overseer of The Maker’s House Chapel, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye has urged Ghanaians to work to achieve their life purpose.

Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye advised Ghanaians to reorient themselves to know that being a wishful thinker doesn’t make a person prosperous in his or her ways.

Speaking in an interview with host Abeiku Aggrey ‘Santana’ on Okay FM’s Drive show ‘Ekwanso Dwoodwo’, the man of God wondered why some people are sitting idle without putting their talents and ideas into good use.

According to him, God expects his creation to work with their hands so that their toil will not go waste.

Dr. Boadi Nyamekye believed some people are not living a purposeful life and believers are a major contributor to this problem.

He slammed lazy Christians who have made it their job to stay in church each day of the week when they should be breaking their sweat to make ends meet.

“God wants us to be diligent when it comes to what He has entrusted to us to do. You wake up Monday to Friday. You have a shop and praying God to expand your business but you don’t even go to the shop. You’re in the church Monday morning. You’re in church Tuesday morning. You’re in church Wednesday morning. You’re in church Thursday morning. You’re in church Friday morning. You’re in church Saturday morning. Sunday morning too, you go to church and yet you want God to bless you.

“That’s not how God blesses people. He said I will bless the works of your hands, not your thoughts. God blesses the works of your hands. He increases what you use your hands to do. God wants us to pursue what he has placed in our hands. If Ghana is going to do well, people should be up and doing. We’re itching for things we can’t scratch. You want to drive a Rolls Royce. You want to drive a Bentley. You want to drive a Range Rover. I applaud you for that. That is wishful thinking but you don’t scratch that with wishful thinking. You scratch that with hard work,” he stressed.

He asked believers and the entire Ghanaian citizenry to wake up bearing in mind that “reality is we don’t use tongues to buy a microphone. Reality is we use money. Reality is we don’t pick money by the road side. Reality is money is blood. Reality is the issues of blood come with sweat. So, if you want money, you should be able to break your sweat for it”.
