Wendy Shay’s ‘Masakra’ Is A Mockery Of The Christian Faith – Nii Soul

Spread The Love

Ruffftown Records label signee Wendy Shay just a released a new tune dubbed ‘Masakra’ (I Repent), a song which some fans of the fast rising singer have tagged as ‘gospel’ to the disgust of Christian artiste Joseph Nii Otu Ankrah popularly known as Nii Soul.

Wendy Shay Masakra song, which when interpreted literally portrays a young lady surrendering her will to God also has some very strong and silly sexual connotations that mocks the Christian faith in its entirety, thus, the need for Christians to rise to the defense of the gospel.

In a post on his Facebook timeline, the singer pointed out that there are a lot of Christians who are unhappy with the fact that the Gospel is being dragged into the mud but are silent.

He cited an instance when a group of guys dropped a trendy song but were terrified to perform the song live on stage because a group of Muslims registered their anger over an Islamic chant in the introductory parts of the song and was quick to add that though he is not calling for violence, he expects believers to rise and defend the faith “without fear or favour”.
