Vibrant Gospel Artiste Akosammy Drops Latest Music Video “Fakye“
Vibrant Gospel Artiste Akosammy has released her anticipated Latest Music Video “Fakye“: Born as Juliana Otu is a Ghanaian female gospel artiste popularly known by the stage name Akosammy. Married woman with 3 children, Akosammy is a Deaconess at the church of Pentecost, Proprieties of sacred Child Educational Centre – Swedru and a product of Jayee Professional Institute.
Growing up in a Christian home, Akosammy at the age of 13 realised her passion for music and as such, joined youth groups from different churches to praise and worship God. She then moved on to become an active minister by leading the music ministry in her church.
With the objective of impacting lives and also fulfilling the will of God, Akosammy chose the gospel genre as her musical career. She is of the view that, her preference for gospel music is the right path because she is not limited in style and also believes that God is on her side.
Akosammy is currently out with her first song titled ‘’FAKYE’’, Fakye which is literally translated in the Akan Dialect as Forgiveness is a very powerful song with a strong lyrical content of encouraging people to develop the spirit of Forgiveness when they are being offended.
When asked of her motivation for the song, Akosammy said ‘’Jesus Christ who died for mankind is a sign of God’s love and forgiveness for our sins. I therefore believe that, God has a strong message for us and as such this song was inspired to encourage people to constantly demonstrate the spirit of forgiveness.’’
Fakye was engineered by Daniel Bassey in Kumasi and its official Music video was produced by Skyweb and as usual, Skyweb has done a great job by providing a top class masterpiece. Fakye is now available on YouTube.
