Award-winning Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Celestine Donkor performs her lastest single More Than A Song Live Music Video.

Celestine’s current hit single “More Than A Song” comes off her album dubbed, Final Say.

The celebrated Ghanaian gospel singer shared her experience in what led to the writing and composition of this spiritually powerful gospel song:

“I wrote this song at a time I was having challenges with my voice.

“I had a throat infection that made me lose my voice and that resulted in difficulty in using my vocal cords to sing.

“This was a hard time for me because at the time, I had a hit song that was doing soo well, but I couldn’t go out to perform.

“I started questioning God in my prayers. I couldn’t afford to lose this one thing that gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

“I heard the Lord say to me that my worth is found in worshipping him in spirit and in truth and this kind of worship comes from the heart regardless of the state of my voice.

“God for made me realize that my voice couldn’t stop the worship that is coming from the heart.

“That was when I got inspired to sing and writing ‘More Than A Song’.”
