Congolese-born, France-based gospel music minister and prolific songwriter, Rebecca Bulayima has released “Esee Baba,” a power-packed song which translates to “Thank You Father” in Nigeria native language (Yoruba).
Born in the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kinshasa, Rebecca Bulayima left her own country at the age of 17 to attend university in China before moving to France.
She was raised in Kinshasa, China, and France before beginning her musical career in the church choir and participating in China competition.
“I’m very happy to be able to share this song with all of you since it is truly close to my heart. I know it will definitely bless you,” Rebecca told GospelEmpireGh.
In the song Esee Baba, Rebecca skillfully blends the languages of Yoruba (Nigeria) and Lingala (Congo).
The praise jam “Esee Baba” will have you dancing all day long. It is a song of praise and adoration for God.
