American Televangelist Mike Murdock Endorses Cwesi Oteng’s ‘Anthems’
Celebrated Ghanaian gospel artiste and songwriter, Cwesi Oteng, keeps winning with his newly released album, ‘Anthems’. Following Cwesi Oteng’s recent novelty album presentation to the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and being applauded for his exploits at promoting world-class Ghanaian inspirational music to the world and inspiring many young people, the artiste has just received thumbs up from world renowned Christian author, songwriter and televangelist, Dr. Mike Murdock.
The legendary Christian author quote-tweeted Cwesi Oteng’s ‘Anthems’ album ad and recommended the album to his followers by writing ‘’…invest in your environment. Check this out!’’. Dr. Mike Murdock also added an encouraging word for Cwesi, ‘’You are planting your whole life as a seed. You really are worthy of God’s best.’’
This is not the first time Dr. Mike Murdock had interacted with Cwesi Oteng. He had earlier endorsed the prelude singles of Cwesi Oteng’s Anthems album – ‘Next in Line’, ‘Great Are You Lord,’ and ‘With Everything’ – describing them as excellent.
Cwesi Oteng’s ‘With Everything’ a few weeks later began airing on the African channel of world’s largest Christian television network, TBN. Then ‘Great Are You Lord’ also peaked at no. 86 on the Euro Indie Music Top 200 charts in 2018 for its consistent airplay on European radio prior to the full ‘Anthems’ album release on January 18, 2019.
Cwesi Oteng’s newly acclaimed 12-track ‘Anthems’ album was recorded live at the First Love Centre, Legon, Accra and comprises songs of identity, hope, salvation and faith in Christ Jesus. Its prelude singles are on rotation on radio and television across Africa and beyond.
‘My Defence’ off the album is receiving a lot of buzz as fans’ favourite.
