Producer failed his Promise to buy me a Car – Isaac Frimpong

The controversial subject of Ghanaian Executive Music Producers duping their artistes in the name of executive producing their musical works has become a major concern to music lovers and entertainers in the industry.

Gospel musician Isaac Frimpong seems to be the latest victim to this whole conundrum as he has expressed worry over Executive Music Producers who haven’t been good to him ever since he started his musical career.

Speaking with the host of Hello Entertainment Review on Hello 101.5 FM Dave Hammer of Dave Hammer TV, the Banbofor singer said some producers promised to help him only to run away with his money thereby refusing to honour their part of the agreement.

However, such problems have not stopped Isaac Frimpong from pursuing his dreams, and he strongly believes that taking away his money doesn’t take away God-given talent.

He also revealed in the interview that, he got GHC 30,000 as benefit after his Banbofor Album Launch under his former management but the producer squandered GH 25,000 and gave him only GH 5000 as token and promised him a brand new car which he never delivered.

Isaac Frimpong later disclosed that he started singing gospel music not for the love of God but a lady who he loved.

Disclosing this to Dave Hammer, Isaac noted, I saw a lady who I loved but didn’t know anything about her.

“So I started stalking her to know where she worships because she had a beautiful voice.

“One day, the lady invited me to her church. I ministered at her church because I wanted the lady as my girlfriend but at that time, the power of God descended heavily upon me whilst worshiping and all my plans changed.

“My singing for God at the point changed. It was just a miracle. I now sing for God.”

The Kumasi-based musician is set to launch his third album onto the Ghanaian market titled Medinkunim on Action Record label on July 29th, 2018, at the Gospel Centre Assemblies of God, Old Tafo in Kumasi.

The album is produced by Desmond Osei Asibey. The gospel sensation is expected to thrill patrons at the album launch with great time of worship.

Medinkunim album launch will feature live stage performances from other artistes such as Oware Junior, Ernest Opoku Jnr, Edward Akwasi Boateng, Rev Mc Abraham, Awurama, Evagelist Akwasi Nyarko, among others.
