We Pray Not To Breakup – Ghanaian Gospel Trio, Preachers

Spread The Love

After eleven years of existence in the Ghanaian music scene, one thing that Ghanaian gospel trio, Preachers wish it never cross their paths is a breakup.

Speaking in a joint interview with Freda Owusuaah Bioh on J. Life FM in Sunyani which was monitored by the trio revealed they are praying hard against the group members going on their separate ways (Breakup).

“Preachers, we have been around for about ten (10) years…this is our eleventh year. We see each other as brothers…we have so many similarities. Born on the same day (Sunday) and raised by pastors. We always pray together,” they divulged what has kept them together.

When they were asked how they will feel if one decides to embark on a solo project or career, they answered:

“Where we have gotten to…it will be very hard for us to break up but we pray that, that day doesn’t come. It is by His grace that we are still here, not our strength nor our strategies or what we have done.

“We are not interested in doing solo projects because we love the group so much. Whenever there is an urge to do something on your own the group comes in mind first, Preachers is a voice. We see ourselves as one artiste and not a group.”

The Ghanaian urban gospel group-Preachers is made up of Obed Psych, Emani Beats and Edmund Baidoo.

Currently, they are promoting their latest song titled ‘Control’.
