Electrifying Ghanaian gospel musician, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, waded into the Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy VGMA wrangle. During a song ministration at Founder of House of Ezra, Prophet Kofi Amponsah Album Launch Nicholas added his voice to the huge brouhaha of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy beef.
The ‘Apor Sor’ singer condemned the feuds between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy which resulted in Stonebwoy brandishing a gun at the Vodaphone Ghana music awards.
According to Nicholas Omane Acheampong also blamed Christians who have been giving their maximum support for Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy and at the end result these same Christians debilitated by this twosome pulling a gun on their fans.
He included that, the Artist of the Year and Most Popular Song of the year winners were not announced due to the fighting that broke out at the VGMA event and gospel artistes are continuously sidelined at the VGMA..
The ‘Tabitha Kum’ hit maker, Nicholas quizzes the source of music and shared a bit of source and history of music eminence into this world.
“Every genre of song, whether it is Highlife, Hiplife, Reggae, Dancehall are all from the house of God. It was God who called his angels and instructed Lucifer to be the chief musician in heaven. We have reduced the impact of Gospel musicians and we have laid scandals or fornication allegations on gospel musicians and these same people playing the blame game over Ghanaian Gospel musicians are simultaneously following Shatta Wale,” he added.
The duo for Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy clashed at the recently ended VGMA which resulted in the recall of their award and their subsequent ban from the award scheme.
