Creflo Dollar – Manifesting Supernatural Response (Devotion)

Manifesting Supernatural Response by American televangelist, pastor, and the founder of the non-denominational World Changers Church International, Creflo Dollar, helps God’s people refresh, refocus and renew their faith and prayer.

As Believers, manifesting a supernatural response to everything that happens in our life eases us into operating in the supernatural. We have a right to this supernatural life, but we must be willing to step out of the natural. Verbally confessing that we live in this upper realm begins the transformation process. There are some things we cannot accomplish through our own abilities. But when we depend on the Holy Spirit as our Helper and our Comforter, He makes things happen that we could never make happen ourselves.
A. Manifesting a supernatural response begins with faith in God’s grace.

We are not children of the bondwoman, but children of the free woman (Galatians 4:31, AMP).
This refers to the discussion of Hagar and Ishmael in the Old Testament. Hagar represented the Law, Ishmael represented self-effort, and Sarah represented the covenant of grace.
When we are born again, we move from being children of the natural to being children of the supernatural.
Faith, by grace, makes God’s promises accessible to those not just under the Law, but also to those of the faith of Abraham (Romans 4:16).
Communication of our faith becomes effective when we acknowledge every good thing in us because of Christ (Philemon 1:6).
Verbally confessing our faith is critical.
We are saved by grace through faith. Grace is God’s gift to us (Ephesians 2:8).
We must have faith in order for the supernatural to be manifested, and to take possession of everything we have.
Faith is the substance of things we hope for, and the evidence of the unseen (Hebrews 11:1).
We must prepare our minds and keep hoping for the things Jesus brings (1 Peter 1:13).
Grace has made healing, soundness, freedom from condemnation, deliverance, and prosperity available.

B. We need a thorough knowledge of faith and how it operates. We find good examples of it in the Bible.

Believers must know what faith is, and what faith is not
Faith is our positive response to God’s grace.
It is not something we do to get God to respond.
It does not move God. It moves us to a position to receive what He already provided.
It does not cause a positive response from God.
It is our positive response to what He has already provided.
It only takes possession of what God has provided by grace.
If God has not already provided it independent of our efforts and prior to our need, then faith cannot make it happen.
During the storm at sea when Jesus walked on water to get to His disciples, they were afraid. He chided them for their wrong response to the situation. When He got into the ship, the wind stopped (Mark 6:45-52).
The disciples welcomed Jesus into the ship, and it immediately moved to the land (John 6:21).
This indicates they responded supernaturally, and received a supernatural response.
When Jesus fed the crowds, His response to initially not having enough food was supernatural. God responded supernaturally, and everyone was filled (Mark 6:41, 42).
When they were jailed, Paul and Silas responded supernaturally to the situation. They were immediately freed, but they did not flee (Acts 16:25-28).
The Shunammite woman responded supernaturally to the death of her son. God responded accordingly (2 Kings 4:8-37).
