Award-winning Ghanaian Gospel Diva Lady Prempeh born Esther Abena Nyarkoa has included her voice to the continuous wrangle about as to whether gospel artistes ought to charge for their exhibitions at church programmes.
Gooding Records signee, uncovered in an interview on Onua fm how costly it is to keep ones brand and the tussle she had to go through within the hands of ministers in Ghana who depreciate the works of gospel artistes.
The ‘Ntaban’ hitmaker, says that there are lots of things that go into branding as a female songstress which are makes-ups, attire, shoes etc.
Deliberating further on the matter, Lady Prempeh said it gets to be exceptionally hurting especially when most church leaders particularly disregard gospel music acts.
She moans about the truth that some of the time an artiste will come with his band to deliver an energetic performance and at the end of the day the gospel artiste and the band are given unjustifiable reception.
She quicky included that a few church leaders are presently starting to understand the gospel musicians with regard to favoring them financially after ministrations at church.
Lady Prempeh is back with a new single titled ‘Aseda’ after several years away from the music scene.
The Gospel Diva has finally released the music video for her song ‘Aseda’.
‘Aseda’ was written by Lady Prempeh and produced by Peewezel of Cue Studios. Lady Prempeh, who is credited with a number of songs, has performed on a number of Christian concerts, both in and outside Ghana.
